Well….. not really, but I had posted this on my Facebook page and got a few laughs. Days like this always make me question why is it that people flock to LA and love to live in Pasadena. The heat hits us every year, always around this time when hot uncomfortable uniforms are mandatory for most schools; wonderful for us parents, torture for them. I remember wearing that polyester blend white uniform the first day of school, and feeling the sweat running down my back during assembly always outside in the scorching. Bad memories…you bet! Better yet unless the air quality was deemed bad by the health department you still had to do PE! Seriously, in this heat?! Its AFRICA HOT!
But what is it that gets us through these days? The beautiful purple mountains around sunset, the feeling of getting into a cool pool and out into the warmth? The fact that you can sit outside at 9pm and read a book in your PJS?
